Your talents will be used to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. To thrive in this position, candidates should have exceptional analytical skills and enjoy working in challenging, fast-paced environments. This Senior Accountant role is located in DFW, Texas. Great compensation, benefits, and chances for advancement are all part of the package.What you get to do every single day- Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP- Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors- Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests- Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.- Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary- Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives- Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reportingIMPORTANT - to be considered for this job you can call Eric Ressler at or you can contact Eric Ressler directly on LinkedIn or send Eric a message (email address is on LinkedIn profile). Job Requirements:- Cert Public Accountant - CPA (US) in a plus but not at all required required- High attention to detail- Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required- Must have excellent time management skills- Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued- Microsoft Excel experience desired- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines- Skilled with ERP systems- 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience- Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities- Strong analytical capabilities and discernment- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environmentRobert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled professionals with remote or on-site jobs in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
