The NEXT Mobilizer will work with the Director of NEXT Teams Mobilizer to provide leadership, direction, and strategy to mobilize North American high school student ministries, college students, and young adults on NEXT Teams STMTs. This position will work closely with the Director of NEXT Teams Mobilization to advance ministry partnerships. This position is responsible for playing their part in achieving the bigger mission of East-West and ensuring that all position duties and responsibilities are clearly aligned with East-West Vision, Mission, Values, Statement of Faith, and Biblical principles - as well as the Mobilization Strategies supporting the mission. They will also personally mobilize and lead effective NEXT Teams STMTs and provide post-trip missional training (APIOM), discipleship, and coaching for students to continue on mission at home while also inviting them to be APIOM (Active Participant in our Mission) through East-West. This position is responsible for playing their part to achieve the bigger mission of East-West and for ensuring that all position duties and responsibilities are clearly aligned with East-West Vision, Mission, Values, Statement of Faith, and Biblical principles. This is a fully support-raised position. A day in the life of the NEXT Teams Mobilizer Mobilize high school and college students for participation on a NEXT Team and as participants in ministry with East-West Lead and/or coordinate 4-6 NEXT Teams a year to the field (At least two personally mobilized) Assist Director of NEXT Teams Mobilization in projects and planning as requested Attend meetings, retreats, and conferences as requested Develop and Maintain a network of personal support Lead, attend, and/or contribute to East-West sponsored spiritual formation activities and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ A baptized believer of Jesus Christ High commitment to, and practices, regular prayer and time in the Word Faithful member of a local church Experienced in sharing his/her faith with a clear, concise gospel message Experienced in effectively discipling new followers of Jesus, preferred BA degree preferred Experienced in cross-cultural ministry, preferred
