Description:Designs, develops and implements industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, prototype model production and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements. Will use CAD/CAM to design tools.

Candidate responsibilities will include team lead for fellow tool designer engineers providing guidance on best practices and tracking project status to ensure on time completion of projects.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or
an equivalent combination of experience and
education

Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Proficient in the use of a CAD Software

Knowledge of tool concept and design.

Proficient in GD&T

Green Belt certified

Manufacturing background

Experience with tooling and tool fabrication

SAP knowledge

Familiarity with Lockheed Martin processes and procedures

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
