Job Description:
You will be an Engineering Aide at Lockheed Martin, providing
technical support to engineering on a variety of technical tasks
that provides high quality electronic and electromechanical
assemblies. Our team supports both Engineering and Manufacturing
operations, ensuring reliable hardware for critical defense
programs. What You Will Be Doing As an Engineering Aide you will be
working with Engineering and Manufacturing teams in a fast-paced
environment supporting new and current programs. Specific tasks
include assembly of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) mechanical and
electrical subsystems and systems. The fabrication of wiring
harnesses will require connector pinning, de-pinning, and applying
mounting hardware. In addition, this position has opportunities to
build drone assemblies and may at times be expected to test and fly
the assemblies built. This position will provide the opportunity
for the candidate to work as individual contributor, in a team
environment. This also includes collaborating with Engineers, and
other members of the Fabrication team including other Fabricators,
Draftsmen, Procurement, and Quality Inspectors. Why Join Us

U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires
special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to
obtain a Secret Security Clearance. Basic Qualifications • Ability
to obtain Secret Security Clearance • 3 Years applying basic
engineering principles and practices • 3 Years applying engineering
documentation standards and practices. • 3 Years of experience with
laboratory testing procedures and data recording practices. • 3
Years of hands-on experience in wiring, cable fabrication and
wire-harness assembly • Experience interpreting and building from
schematics, blueprints, and/or diagrams within fabrication and
testing environments • Experience applying Lean/Six Sigma
principles to process flows Desired skills • Solder certification
to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721 • Experience interpreting and
building to Lockheed Martin engineering drawing • Experience
performing Group 1-2 UAV fabrication • Experience performing flight
checkouts under FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification •
Experience performing composite fabrication and rapid prototyping

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be
performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work
Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of
alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance
Information This position requires a government security clearance,
you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual
base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts,
and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado,
Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont,
Washington or Washington DC is $61,200 - $107,985. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life

applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at

Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually;
receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave,

position in most major metropolitan areas in California,
Massachusetts, and New York is $70,400 - $117,415. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
