Job Description:

Human Resources DirectorOur client, a major global cell phone and technology company is seeking a Human Resources Director for their office in Roanoke, TX. The HR Director will be responsible for complete HR & Administration operations for North America. He/she will be a trusted advisor to the business leaders to build organizational & individual capabilities, and ensure effective execution and decision making, specifically related to the human capital assets of the North America business. The position will report to the Vice President of Human Resources. -What will your job be like?Drive, develop and execute the overall HR Strategy to address business challenges and needs, based on a deep understanding of the Big PictureWork & partner with corporate HR teams to implement HR programs for North America such as compensation & benefits, performance management, R&R and other programsPartner with business leaders to provide consultation on HR related matters (such as workforce planning, cost competitiveness, performance management, talent & leadership management)Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs like health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages. This would include benchmarking and negotiating health and other benefitsAnticipate and plan for the effects of organization change, identify risks and develop action plans to ensure the changes succeedEnsure leadership continuity and development through succession planning and talent management processes.Set up governance and processes to work within budget (salary revision, bonus, recognition, promotions, and performance management)Manage the work force to include head count standardization work force planning and position management to assure effectivenessLead and participate in talent acquisition (including Employer branding)Promote an organization climate based on Values and Mission, to deepen the implementation of these values and strengthen employee's engagementProvide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by leading all functional areas of Human Resources to include, Recruiting and Onboarding, Organizational Structure, Performance Management, Employee Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development, Employee Relations, Workplace Safety and Employee Satisfaction. -This position will also be responsible for supporting the business needs with various agencies, both private and government by providing administrative support for the purchasing of business goods, making routine purchases, payment of temporary labor, maintaining company assets, and facility maintenance to ensure all processes are handled thoroughly. - -Requirements: -Bachelors degree in Human Resources or similiar fieldHuman Resources Certifications (SHRM, PHR) highly desired8+ years of experience in various HR Functions (including Talent acquisition)Must have strong, consultative experience with business leaders/teams within an organizationExperience working with Global Teams in a Multi-Cultural Environment within the high-tech/ learning industry.Experience working within a Matrix OrganizationHaving led a team of HR ProfessionalsOwning end to end HR projects, programs and processesProject & global program management experienceExperience working with MS office & HRM systems (preferably SAP)Job Types: -Full-timeSalary: -$120,000 to $135,000In Office positionIf you are an experience Human Resources Professional, submit your resume today because we would like to speak with you!We are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit.
