• Drive the ConGlobal culture through values and customer service standards.
• Partner to develop and execute strategic plans to enhance switching & terminal operations.
• Manage and be accountable for rail operations, focusing on switching operations.
• Oversee daily switching operations to ensure compliance with FRA standards and company policies.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and resolve or escalate issues.
• Develop and implement standards, practices, and training programs to ensure uniform operating procedures.
• Collaborate with peers, site leaders, and Terminal Managers to improve switching and rail operations.
• Develop and implement terminal strategies through people, systems, and processes.
• Plan and operate within an annual budget.
• Oversee safety audits to ensure compliance with policies, FRA, PUC, and OSHA requirements.
• Analyze performance indicators and recommend process improvements.
• Partner with corporate functions to identify process gaps and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to enhance employee engagement and retention.
• Mentor direct reports to achieve their personal and professional goals.
• Lead by example, uphold all company rules, regulations, and policies.
• Address challenges through collaborative communication.
• Ensure excellence in safety, profitability, and service.
• Focus on customer satisfaction, problem-solving, and performance improvement.QualificationsRequired
  • 7+ years of experience in intermodal, automotive, transportation, logistics, or operations.
  • FRA experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Experience managing multi-site Union and Non-Union sites.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Extensive industry knowledge and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based data systems.
  • Effective communication skills for all stakeholders.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
