Blazerworks, in collaboration with a respected school district in Keller, TX, is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an RN, you will play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of students within the school setting. • Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff members in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assess and address the healthcare needs of students, including medication administration, treatments, and medical procedures.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with specific health conditions.
• Monitor and manage student health records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Conduct health screenings and maintain immunization records as required by state and local regulations.
• Promote health education and wellness programs within the school community.
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical assistance as needed.
• Educate and train staff members on health-related topics and emergency procedures. Qualifications:
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Previous experience working as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Knowledge of pediatric health assessment, emergency procedures, and medication administration.
  • Familiarity with state and local health regulations pertaining to schools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to assess and address a variety of health concerns and medical emergencies.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate and up-to-date health records.
  • Dedication to providing compassionate care and promoting a safe and healthy school environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
