Hospital Based IP Rehab Unit Number of Staff 50 Acute, IP Rehab, OP
Rehab Type of staff: o Day Shift Typically 3-4 PT, 3-4 OT, 1 SLP,
part-time rehab tech o Night Shift N/A Patient Ratios Expectation
of 6 hrs of patient care in 8 -hr shift Type of equipment RW, WC,
suppl. 02, STC, conditioning equipment, BITS, Andago, Bioness,
Armeo, Simulation Lab, etc. EMR - MediTech Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these
skills will not be considered for the role. Experience in inpatient
rehab Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will
be considered first. CARE Tool credentialed List typical procedures
performed on unit(s): Eval and treatment of patients, report out in
team conference, family training, DME recommendations
Interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, nurses, SLPs, PTs,
PCTs, and techs Best personality Fit: Friendly, Knowledgeable,
Creative, Accountable REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: TX license and CPR
