As a Registered Nurse in our Intermediate Care Unit/Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will have the unique opportunity to provide care for patients with moderate stability and some complex nursing interventions required. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Monitor patient health and administer care, including medication, treatments, and interventions in patient recovery. Maintain patient records and ensure documentation follows state laws and regulations. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance. Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care. Supervise nursing assistants and support staff. Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards.
