Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our faith-based healthcare team. This role involves using diagnostic imaging technology to assess patients' cardiac function, supporting our mission to deliver compassionate, personalized care. This position plays a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions, helping improve patient health outcomes in the communities we serve. Perform echocardiograms and other cardiovascular tests to assess heart health. Analyze and document diagnostic results and provide detailed reports to physicians. Maintain and calibrate sonography equipment to ensure accurate results. Educate patients on procedure details, addressing any concerns to ensure comfort. Collaborate with healthcare team members to evaluate diagnostic results and treatment plans. Proficient in echocardiography and Doppler sonography. Strong analytical and documentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to operate and maintain complex diagnostic equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS or equivalent. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
