CNA. You will provide outstanding patient care and physical support
for patients and residents on a daily basis. To do well in this
role you should have your state-certified nursing assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary purpose as an CNA is to provide each of
your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and
services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care
plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors. Record all
entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and
descriptive manner Use only authorized abbreviations established by
this facility when recording information. Report all changes in the
resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon
as practical. Agree not to disclose assigned user ID code and
password for accessing resident/facility information and promptly
report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the
Administrator. Ensure that the resident’s room is ready for
receiving the resident (i.e., bed made, name tags up, admission kit
available, etc.). Introduce resident to his/her roommate, if any,
and other residents and personnel as appropriate. Performs other
duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent
(GED) Must have current Nurse Aide certification in the state of
Texas Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the
state of Texas and Misconduct Registry Ability to understand,
remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with
residents
