Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position We’re hiring an experienced
Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll
be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and
evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with
breathing disorders. Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s
degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science
program. Current state license in good standing with the State
License Board. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
required. Minimum 2 years of hospital respiratory therapy
experience required. NICU experience required. ICU and ED
experience required. Ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs).
BLS certification required. Experience with Meditech documentation
system preferred. Experience with Servo I ventilator and i-STAT
preferred. Demonstrated skills performing ABGs, assisting with
intubation, nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, IPPB, and chest
physiotherapy (CPT). Good customer service skills and experience
caring for patients across all age ranges. Must comply with unit
dress and appearance standards: black RRT scrubs required,
clean/healthy nails (no artificial nails), neat hair, covered body
art when feasible, and only ear piercings visible. Assignment
Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Nights. Shift hours:
1900-0630. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Weekend requirement:
Every other weekend. Float requirement: May be required to float to
other facilities as needed. Documentation system: Meditech.
Procedures commonly performed: ABGs, intubation assistance,
nebulizer treatment, Metaneb, IPPB, CPT. Location Highlights Fort

Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport for regional travel and an
urban-to-suburban lifestyle fit. Standard Job Description Addendum
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care for patients
with breathing disorders across age ranges. Perform and interpret
ABGs, assist with intubations, manage mechanical ventilation, and
deliver aerosolized therapies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary
care teams to support patient-centered outcomes. Document care
