Job Description:

Title: UX Designer Location: Onsite Tuesday - Thursday in Fort Worth, TX Duration: 6-12 month contract with potential to extend Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US Overview This position reflects the current scope of responsibilities but may evolve as needed. Management reserves the right to modify duties or require additional tasks as appropriate, including any obligations under collective bargaining agreements and applicable legal requirements. Key Responsibilities Influence outcomes and product owner decisions based on UX best practices, design principles, and research, using agile methodologies Collaborate with developers to find the most effective, expedient, and efficient way to implement solutions Collect, analyze, present, and action feedback; manage changes to UX deliverables Present work clearly and compellingly to stakeholders Provide timely status updates, including work remaining, risks, and identified issues Communicate effectively with all team members to accomplish tasks Design visual style, interface, and interaction flow for applications and experiences that align with design system standards and patterns Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes that incorporate systems thinking and clear user flows Create research strategies based on desired outcomes and develop usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios for prototypes Regularly formulate and test hypotheses during design iterations Utilize research techniques (e.g., heuristic reviews, user interviews, remote unmoderated and in-person testing) to evaluate design ease-of-use and comprehension Minimum Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/training 3 years of experience as a UX practitioner in user experience or interaction design Experience working closely with developers from inception through implementation in an agile environment Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines, product lines, roles, and global time zones Proficiency with remote unmoderated testing tools and moderated testing platforms Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Spatial Computing Experience in rapid design iteration, user testing, and delivery to development teams Background in designing responsive, adaptive, and accessible user experiences Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/training 5 years of experience as a UX practitioner in user experience or interaction design Strong background in Accessibility (WCAG 2.0 AA compliance), localization, and inclusive design Experience designing mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms Skills, Licenses, and Certifications Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe CC) Advanced analytical skills for resolving complex data challenges with sustainable solutions Strong organizational and information architecture skills, including labeling, flow design, and wireframe development for complex applications Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and clearly communicate with non-technical stakeholders In-depth understanding of both qualitative and quantitative UX research methodologies Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and awareness of current trends in web and app design Core Competencies Caring – Demonstrates empathy and understanding of user and team needs Collaboration – Works effectively with diverse cross-functional teams Development – Seeks growth and supports team advancement Future – Embraces innovation and forward-thinking solutions Results – Focuses on outcomes and delivering high-quality work Team & Culture Join a multidisciplinary UX team responsible for shaping the user experience across customer and employee-facing applications.
