POSITION SUMMARY: Perform all duties associated with the
preparation and completion of payroll, payroll reporting and tax
fillings, garnishments & 401K reporting. Must demonstrate strong
attention to detail, exceptional multitasking, and organizational
skills. Essential duties:
- Perform tasks related to processing of bi-weekly employee
payroll
- Work closely with supervisors/managers regarding errors on
time-keeping system
- Audit and verification of employee timesheets
- Review all payroll processing forms to ensure accuracy and
verify proper authorization
- Process payroll & review for errors
- Process reports for management to review OT, Organizational
list Perform tasks related to the monthly processing of physician
payroll
- Perform maintenance of physician changes for payroll
- Compile add pay for physicians
- Work with company database programs to process payroll
- Gather information from the Smartsheet, and edit payroll
processing accordingly
- Process payroll and review for accuracy
- Handle physician requests and questions re: payroll
issues.
- Review physician contracts for new hires, and status
changes
- Quarterly pay medical directors according to policy
- Perform tasks related to quarterly and annual payroll
reporting.
- Responsible for payroll tax fillings in a timely manner (941,
940)
- Review the W-2 s and ensure timely fillings
- Generate and audit reports periodically to maintain integrity
of payroll data
- Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual profit
sharing
- Prepare reports for yearly, quarterly, monthly, and bi-weekly
reports to relevant departments about payroll
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or accounting
preferred
- 2-3 years experience computing payrolls and preparing payroll
tax reports, with a basic understanding of payables and general
ledger accounts
- CPP certification a plus
