Job DescriptionCustomer Service
Representative/CollectionsSummary: To provide prompt, professional
and superior service to all customers. This is a customer service
position and integral part of the job; meaning you are always
serving an internal or external customer. The person answering the
phone is the first person the customers interact with and sets the
tone for future interactions by making a good impression.Job
functions includes answering the phone and greeting the customer
inquiring about leak detection service or repairs, letting callers
know we appreciate their business. Our business objective is to
provide excellent customer service. When answering the phone, the
tone of your voice is friendly, positive, warm, enthusiastic and
empathetic to the customers problem. Display confidence in the
information you provide, and let the caller know they have called
the right place. Responsible for reaching out to customers to
collect payment for overdue bills, loans, or other payments. Acts
as the liaison between creditors and customers and manages overdue
accounts.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but not
limited to;Keeping track of assigned accounts to identify
outstanding debtsCoordinating with management on course of action
to recover outstanding payments.Contacting customers to inquire of
their payment status. Update account status and web-based system
daily. All correspondence should be documented. Follow the Company
guidelines for collection procedures i.e. liens, collection agency,
follow up.Use templates given for written communication with
customers and homeowners. Answer phone by the 3rd ring.Assess
customers situation, accurately gather customer information, quote
customer based on situation and input information into web-based
system.Attempt to schedule technicians geographically.Provide
insurance certificates and W-9 to customers upon
request.Responsible for being on-call one week per month.Compose
and types routine correspondence as needed.Keep records of service
calls and work order via paper and web-based system.Weekly
scheduled hours are subject to change at management discretion.

deadlines.Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in
business vocabulary to affectively represent the
company.Education:Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a
two-year college or technical school; or 3-5 years of
administrative work experience; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.General Skills:Ability to read and analyze
general business periodicals. The ability to write reports,
business correspondence and procedure manuals with good grammar,
punctuation and spelling.Ability to calculate figures and amounts,
such as discounts, interest rates, and percentages. The ability to
apply basic math concepts.Ability to solve practical problems and
deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only
limited standardizations exists; and ability to interpret a variety
of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule
form.Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:Valid drivers
license.Work/Environmental Conditions:While performing the duties
of this job, the employee regularly works inside an office
environment. Odors may be present. The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate. Safety policies are adhered
to.Indoors in normal office environment with little exposure to
excessive noise, dust, fumes, vibrations and temperature changes at
least seventy-five percent (75%) of the time.Frequent computer use
at workstation up to four to five hours at a time.Frequently work
at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.Public contact position
may require appropriate business-like apparel.
