When you step into a career with AT&T, you won't just imagine the future- you'll create it.As a Principal Solution Architecture, your tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: Specify the Components and Their Interactions: Define high-level solutions with customers, stakeholders, and development teams. Determine primary components and subsystems, analyzing technical trade-offs. Identify interfaces and collaborations, defining higher-level functional and non-functional requirements (NFRs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Define a Shared Technical and Architectural Vision: Create a unified technical and architectural vision for the entire solution, ensuring alignment rather than focusing on specific components.
• Align Architectural Direction: Collaborate with portfolio stakeholders, customers, Enterprise Architects, System Engineers, and development teams to align the architectural direction.
• Establish Implementation Strategy and Technical Foundation: Develop an incremental implementation strategy and technical foundation for the architectural runway, preserving architectural flexibility through abstraction and generalization.
• Ensure Common Practices and Reuse: Promote the use of common technology, design practices, and infrastructure where applicable. Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns, influencing common modeling, design, and coding practices.

  • An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results.
  • Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies.

        Education/Experience:
        • Master's degree (MS/MA) desired in Computer Science.
        • 7+ years of related experience.
