As a -Senior Pharmacy -Technician, -you'll be responsible for answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. Along the way, you'll discover the training, support, and career opportunities you'd expect from a Fortune 6 leader. -This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details / clinical information. It's a fast - paced, high - volume environment where our members are counting on us to deliver these important, sometimes lifesaving medications in an accurate and efficient manner. -
Location: 8400 ESTERS BLVD STE 185 - IRVING, TX - 75063
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
Primary Responsibilities: -

Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate information
Process prescriptions
Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
Pulling and staging the medications for compounding
Understanding of USP797 sterile guidelines
May need to stock medications as needed
May need to assist with labeling and organizing medications and supplies as needed
May need to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously as needed
May include other duties as assigned by the PIC

High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas

Preferred Qualifications:

National Pharmacy Technician Certification
1+ years of Home Infusion experience
Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience with CPR+ -
