with Enovia Aircraft component design Job Description: The Drive
System Design Engineer is responsible for the creation, release,
and continuous improvement of engineering data related to complex
drive system components, including gears, housings, shafts,
bearings, and supporting hardware. This role supports rapid
prototyping, manufacturing, assembly, and validation efforts,
ensuring compliance with customer, industry, and air vehicle
performance and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop
detail, assembly, and installation design definitions in 2D and 3D
using CAD tools. Improve design definitions and documentation
throughout the product lifecycle using CAD and PLM tools. Support
manufacturing and testing of drive system components by
interpreting technical data and contributing to product
improvements. Collaborate within cross-functional teams across
various stages of the program lifecycle. Contribute to the
advancement of drive system technologies through innovative
thinking, research, and strong analytical skills. Required Skills &
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft
component design, including 2D/3D modeling, requirements capture,
and specification development. Additional experience is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (other
engineering disciplines will be considered with relevant
experience). Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 or 3DX. Experience with PLM
tools, particularly ENOVIA. Familiarity with precision
manufacturing environments, including processes such as metal
machining, heat treatment, and other specialized methods. Strong
proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook). 3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not
eligible for partnership on this position. 3rd party subcontractors
